Although our time at each school was limited, it seems each of us really connected with at least one student during our visits. At this school my [Jim] "pal" was Alfonso (sitting next to me in the 3rd photo of the 2nd row) - he took charge and helped out a lot with bringing materials into the school and then offered me something to drink when the work was done. We chatted for a bit (as much as my rusty Spanish would allow ;-) and then joined a quick game on the field before it was time to go.
